Brent,
We wanted to thank you and your staff for all the time and all
the hard work spent with Dane in the last year and a half. Dane
benefited from karate in more ways than ever expected. Dane
started as a Tiny Tiger and moved on to the Karate for kids
program. He had never been to school before and was getting ready
to start Kindergarten. Right away we noticed improvement in his
confidence level. He learned things that we as parents forgot to
teach him and are very important before starting school.
.
He learned to raise his hand to speak, how to sit Indian
style, he learned what a stranger is, what to do in an emergency
and self defense techniques. More importantly he learned life
skills that we hope he takes with him throughout life. The young
years are so important and your karate programs make a difference.
Keep up the hard work.

Dear
Taekwondo
USA/
HB,
TKs for the nice intro email and especially tks very
much to Mr Ellison whom I remember back to my days as a brown belt
in 1993 ! It’s due to Mr Ellison's perseverance and great school
that I am still an ATA member, even if "passive" one for now and
more importantly that we now have the opportunity to induct Emma
into the spirit of Songahm Taekwondo.
Sincerely,

3/04/08 Taekwondo has been an awesome
experience for me and my twins. I achieved Black Belt at the age
of 50 and my boys will soon follow at age 11. We have a great time
together at Taekwondo USA. I'm so glad we started training
together.

Our son Shawn started Taekwondo at the age of
nine. I really didn't know any thing about Taekwondo. I was
looking for an activity that would improve his physical
coordination and strength, but part of me wondered if he would use
this training to clobber his fellow classmates. As I watched the
first few classes, I could see how much attention was paid to
respect: the careful bow when entering the studio or going out on
to the floor, the right way to sit and stand, the full attention
given to the instructor at all times. Shawn recited with his
classmates the daily pledge that emphasize words like
"perseverance", "honor" and "integrity". We were starting to see
how Taekwondo was much more than just a physical activity, but
also a way to develop mental and emotional strength. Shawn has
matured in many ways since he has started Taekwondo. He has
improved his balance, strength, and coordination. He has had the
opportunity to develop his memory skills and to demonstrate his
skills in front of an audience. He also has a greater
understanding of the value of practice, shows more respect, for
others and is a gracious loser as well as a compassionate winner.
I want to thank Mr. Ellison and his exceptional staff for the
patience and enthusiasm they have always shown my son and all of
their students. Through them Shawn has learned lessons that will
last the rest of his life.
Sincerely,
